Pekan Kuah

Langkawi Cable Car
The entrance for the Langkawi cable-car, which takes visitors all the way up to Mount Mat Cincang, Langkawi’s second highest peak,  is located in The Oriental Village in the upper northwest of Langkawi Island, near Pantai Kok. Entering the village and passing through the pleasant oriental garden and souvenir shops, visitors make their payment at a counter before stepping onto an escalator which brings them to the cable-car pedestal.
Once in, the cable-car ascends; you’ll begin to notice the temperature dropping and a windy breeze begin flowing into the cabin through ventilation slits at the top. As it gets cooler, the landscape below begins to appear smaller, and at after climbing at a 42° angle for a few hundred feet, you can start snapping pictures of the rainforest below. Look out at the side for a view of the Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls, which cascades down a grey rock face.

PUTRAJAYA!!

Putrajaya, a planned city located just south of Kuala Lumpur, is the new federal administrative centre of Malaysia. Several Government offices have re-located there to gain relief from the overcrowding and congestion of Kuala Lumpur, which is Malaysia’s largest city. However, Kuala Lumpur still serves as Malaysia’s national and legislative capital for now. Putrajaya is a Federal Territory just like the city of Kuala Lumpur and the island of Labuan.
The city is named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra. In Bahasa Melayu, the Sanskrit-derived words “Putra” means prince while “Jaya” means excellent or success.
The city is built on a scale completely disproportionate to its current population, with a number of bridges spanning an artificial lake, Tasik Putrajaya (Putrajaya Lake).




Putrajaya Wetlands
One of the interesting places in Putrajaya consisting of more than 70 species of plants. Wetland in Putrajaya, Malaysia's largest freshwater area cultivated in tropical regions where overall breadth hactares there were approximately 200.



Putra mosque

Taiping Lake Garden
