INTERESTING PLACES IN SABAH

Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary
It is one tourist destination located at 25 km from Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. This is the place for the world's largest Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. This area measuring 11.000 hectares of virgin forest have been ignored for the protection of orang utans. This is where orang utans who have strayed into the forest saved.

 

Gua Gomantong
Gomantong Cave which is about 32km south of Sandakan, is home to more than one million Swallow. In the cave, the birds build their nests high on cave walls and roof. This nest has its own usefulness.



Kinabatangan River
Kinabatangan River is the longest river in Sabah and is a hotspot of biodiversity of mammals and birds. monkeys, wild orang utans, crocodiles mouth, wild cats and many other species and the most interesting and unusual that occupied the plain of the river downstream.



Poring Hot Springs
Poring Hot Springs is located on the southern boundary of Kinabalu Park. If you want to go there, perjalannya approximately 3 hours from Kota Kinabalu or 40km from Kinabalu Park. This place can relax your body exhausted after walking in Kota Kinabalu satisfied. There are many attractive hot springs here.

 

Sipadan Island
Sipadan Island is an island in the sea near Semporna, a town on the east coast of Sabah, Malaysia. This island is a place that is recognized by international divers and renowned filmmakers Jacques Cousteau as one of the best dive sites in the world.
